Clinical Associate, Growth (Psychologist)
Apply below
Australia (remote). Part-time contract, flexible hours around your clinical practice.
NovoPsych exists to help mental health clinicians improve their client outcomes. Behind every one of the assessments we deliver is a clinician sitting with someone who is struggling, trying to understand them well enough to help. Everything we build is in service of that moment.
Since 2012, more than 75,000 mental health professionals across Australia, North America, the UK, Europe and New Zealand have used NovoPsych’s 150+ validated assessments and NovoNote, our AI scribe and clinical writing assistant. Clinicians trust us because we are scientist-led: clinical psychologists and PhD psychometricians work alongside our engineers, and we publish our research in peer-reviewed journals.
We are growing fast and are still small enough at around 30 people that every hire shapes the company. If you want your work to change how mental health care is delivered around the world, and you move quickly, this is the place.
Be the psychologist new users talk to. You’ll help clinicians get real value from NovoPsych in their first weeks, bring their experience back to our product and growth teams, and make sure everything we say and build is clinically sound. This is not a sales role.
The opportunity
Thousands of clinicians sign up to NovoPsych every month. The ones who get a helping hand from a peer early on are far more likely to stay. We want practising psychologists who can speak clinician to clinician, keep a foot in practice, and help shape the future of psychological assessment and AI documentation.
What you’ll do
Months 1 to 6
- Give peer-to-peer onboarding support to new users: short calls and video sessions showing how to use assessments and NovoNote in real practice.
- Reach out to new users who hit a problem or get stuck, and help them succeed.
- Turn what you hear into clear recommendations for our product, marketing and customer success teams.
- Review marketing and sales materials so every clinical claim is accurate.
- Test new features, templates and AI workflows for clinical accuracy, safety and usability before release.
- Support clinicians using our AI assistant for letters, reports and summaries, and relay clinical feedback to the product team.
- Contribute to webinars, content, pilots and research projects.
Months 7 to 12
- Support onboarding and training for group practices, universities and health services alongside our customer success team.
- Help shape our approach for key professions and specialties.
- Train and mentor new clinical associates as the program grows.
You’ll thrive here if you…
- Are ambitious and want to influence how thousands of clinicians use assessment and AI.
- Love helping peers and can explain things simply and warmly.
- Want to keep practising while building something bigger than your caseload.
- Are curious about technology and keen to learn how AI tools behave.
