Since 2012, more than 75,000 mental health professionals across Australia, North America, the UK, Europe and New Zealand have used NovoPsych’s 150+ validated assessments and NovoNote, our AI scribe and clinical writing assistant. Clinicians trust us because we are scientist-led: clinical psychologists and PhD psychometricians work alongside our engineers, and we publish our research in peer-reviewed journals.

Be the operator who turns a fast-growing clinical company into a well-run one. You’ll take the company’s strategic directions and turn them into plans, owners, numbers and results, so our clinicians and scientists can stay focused on the work that matters.

The opportunity

NovoPsych has grown on product quality and clinician trust, not on process. That has served us well, and now it’s the constraint. We need someone who loves building the machinery of a company (goals, metrics, finance, people, systems) and who wants to see that machinery help millions of clients get better care.

What you’ll do

• Run the company’s operating rhythm: quarterly goals, a weekly metrics review, and a leadership meeting that ends with decisions and owners.
• Lead operations, finance administration and people functions.
• Drive cross-team projects from idea to done, from pricing changes to new-market launches.
• Prepare board and investor material.
• Build the hiring engine: workforce plans, interview processes and onboarding for a team that will grow significantly over the next year.
• Make sure every decision is backed by measured numbers.
• Spot where we’re slow, wasteful or guessing, and fix it.

Selection criteria

• 7+ years in operations, strategy, consulting or chief-of-staff roles, including time in a growing tech or health company.
• A track record of building operating systems (goals, KPIs, reporting, processes) that others adopted.
• Strong financial literacy: P&L, budgets, unit economics.
• Experience managing people and leading cross-functional work.
• Clear, structured writing.
• Experience with AI workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with investor reporting.
• Background in healthcare or health technology.
• Hands-on with AI tools and automation for operations.

What success looks like in 12 months

• A weekly company scorecard everyone uses, with every key metric owned by a named person.
• Quarterly goals set, tracked and reviewed on time.
• Finance, people and vendor processes running without escalation.
